Tasting Notes - Ferrari-Carano presents its finest blend of the five classic Bordeaux varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot from the best selections of our vineyards in Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys. Aptly named Tresor for treasure, the grapes are hand harvested from dry-farmed, low yielding vines primarily on our mountain vineyards. Delicious aromas of ripe blackberry andcurrant from the Cabernet Sauvignon pair with the provocative notes of boysenberry and cherry cobbler from the Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.With a full bodied andrichly- textured tannin profile, this blend exudes aconcentrated palate ofintense red and black berries, cinnamon, chocolate, espresso, and vanilla.Upfront silkiness androundness make for a delicious wine now andwill drink well for 7-10 years.

Winemaker Notes - This wine is composed of 100% Merlot. The cool-climate, valley-floor vineyards produce supple, fruit-forward wine, while the mountain top vineyard fruit lends intensity and structure. Upon entering the winery, the hand-harvested grapes were destemmed and then fermented in tank before pressing. The wine was moved to barrels for malolactic fermentation and aged for 16 months, allowing for the perfect balance of fruit, tannin, and oak. Tasting Notes - Dark ruby in color with an intricate nose showing ripe cherries, jammy blackberry, cinnamon and caramel, the wine's flavors are reminiscent of chocolate- covered strawberries and mocha. On the palate the wine is fleshy and round, with subtle tannins and a lingering finish.

Winemaker Notes - Ferrari-Carano s Italian heritage is reflected in this Sangiovese- based, easy-sipping, multi- dimensional blend. Select lots of grapes were chosen from our vineyards in Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys to create a beautifully balanced and medium-bodied wine. SIENA is supple and ripe with heady fruit aromas of fresh picked red and black berries complemented by cinnamon and mocha. Juicy cherry and raspberry jam flavors are followed by a round, viscous finish of milk chocolate and butterscotch. Excellent red fruit vitality is met by good acidity, round, gentle tannins and a lingering finish.

The Alexander Valley Chardonnay is a delicious wine with floral and fruit aromas of pear, Fuji apple, citrus and honey graham cracker with a hint of rich caramel and toasted coconut marshmallow Generous on the palate, creamy vanilla undertones balance layers of toast and spice on the finish, while the tropical flavors linger to the end Each individual lot for this wine was either whole cluster pressed or gently crushed, de-stemmed, pressed and then cold settled for two days in stainless steel tanks before moving to barrels Aged separately in French oak, various individual lots were selected to create the final blend The wines completed 75 percent malolactic fermentation and were sur lie aged and stirred every two weeks for ten months Wine WINE

Select lots of grapes were chosen from our valley-floor and mountain-top vineyards in Sonoma County to create this beautifully balanced and full-bodied 2006 Ferrari-Carano Merlot. A multidimensional, velvety wine with a dark ruby color and complex nose of fresh black cherries, blackberry, roasted coffee bean and chocolate, this year’s Merlot is accented by intricately woven flavors of red currants and caramel with a touch of tobacco lingering on the silky, smooth finish. Food pairings: The fruit forward, easy drinking qualities of our 2006 Ferrari-Carano Merlot make it the perfect wine to pair with any red meat course, Italian entrée, and roasted or grilled fragrantly- spiced poultry dishes.

The grapes for our 2007 Reserve Chardonnay come primarily from Ferrari-Carano’s vineyard in the Napa Valley Carneros appellation. Comprised of three Chardonnay clones, this wine has lush fig, apple, graham cracker, and hazelnut aromas with delicious caramel, pear, mango, and toasty oak flavors with a creamy, buttery finish. The cool climate of Napa Valley Carneros and Russian River Valley imparts its unique delicacy and finesse to the wine, while the Alexander Valley component adds an intensely rich mouth-filling character.

With its delicate aromas and delicious flavors, the Ferrari-Carano Pinot Grigio is a perfect, light, white wine for sipping or as an aperitif. Individual lots of hand-harvested Pinot Gris grapes are gently whole cluster pressed to minimize any color or harsh tannin extraction, then moved directly to stainless steel tanks for cold fermentation, with a weekly stirring of the lees to increase richness, depth and complexity. The resulting wine retains bright flavors and crisp acidity balanced with a touch of creaminess.

Fog drifts over tops of coastal mountains and burns off quickly in morning sunshine, resulting in a warm climate with almost full sun throughout day – ideal conditions for our cabernet sauvignon mountain vineyards.
