The clay mold surrounding and inside the sculpture is delicately removed, revealing the cast sculpture, which is subsequently finished by buffing, polishing and patinizing to give the piece its final verdigris (green-grey) or bronze lustre.

The middle section of this wall fountain is hand-cast aluminum. The water flows down the middle section and over the raised swirls and lines giving the water a twinkling quality to it. It gives just the right visual action to the water. The copper sides come out a few inches out from the cast section giving it a sense of real mass and richness. *This fountain can be placed outside- just let us know, so that we can make some electrical adjustments. This is another example of customer participation! Someone saw our gigantic Slab Tree Fountain, loved, it but didn't need something eight- feet tall. We scaled things down a bit -- to inches instead of feet. It hangs on the wall and generates a wonderfully mellifluous sound. It's a nice addition to our other fountains, in that it is strong, conservative, and still very friendly. You'll like the sound.
