I wanted to send my Mom a flower arrangement for her birthday and all went well until I accidentally placed the order before I had finished typing my message and checking out. I was horrified to see that the order was placed for two days after Mom's birthday.
I called their customer service line and was amazed to get a live person (in America, no less) named Cindy who had worked for the company for a long time. She took down the rest of my "Happy Birthday" message and took care of correcting the date. She double checked my email address for confirmation copy. I thanked her and said goodbye.
Later that night I saw that I'd still not received the email, so I sent an email inquiry thru Phillips' website. By the next day Mom had received her flowers (and really liked them) and all was well.
I'd almost forgotten about it the following day when I got a phone call from a gentleman from the company who asked if everything went as I had wished. I told him yes it had and that the floral arrangement was beautiful. He suggested the email may have been filtered by Yahoo's SPAM filters, and sure enough a search of my BULK email folder turned it up dated on Mom's birthday.
I also told him that because of their great product and superior service I would recommend them to all my friends.
This kind of service used to be an everyday thing, but sadly it isn't any more.
They have a huge "Comments" page and if you peruse even just a few of them you will see messages that look almost exactly like the one you have just read!
Anyway, it's uncanny, there's even one where the person had the same problem I had (perhaps a website quirk that needs fine tuning) and from their note it sounds like they spoke to Cindy, just as I had. Same outcome, too!
I hope if you need to send flowers you will consider Phillips as your source.
