I have known and loved the company, Back in the Saddle, for quite a few years now. And that’s mostly because I get their catalog in the USPS mail. I love looking through the catalog and making a wish list because they have some really great stuff for horse lovers.

The fun begins with the front cover of the snail mail catalog. There is always a beautiful picture of a horse on it. Usually you can even order a copy of the picture that is on the cover as well.

Back in the Saddle sells clothing with a horse theme. You can get T-shirts, pajamas, jackets, socks etc. and you can get them either with pictures of beautiful horses or with witty horse sayings or both. Unfortunately they don't sell super large sizes that would fit me but if they did, I think that I would buy all my clothes from them! Some of the T-shirt sayings include : “No Outfit is Complete Without a Few Horse Hairs;” “A Woman’s Place is On a Horse;” Dogs Have Owners Horses Have Staff;” “I Do Not Need Another Horse (four times);” Hay Carrots Apples Nobody Rides for Free;” or my personal favorite “Horseapple University Mucking Team.” Back in the Saddle also sells horse themed clothing for kids.

Back in the Saddle also sells horse books, DVD’s, toys, jewelry and really anything you can think of that may have a horse on it, even horse themed bedding.

I have ordered from Back in the Saddle and not had any problems. My items were shipped in a timely manner and I received them on schedule. However I have never ordered during the Christmas season as some of the other reviewers for this company did so I have no personal experience with that. The Back in the Saddle Company does have a satisfaction guarantee so you can get a refund, exchange or credit for any problems that you may have with them or their merchandise. I have never had a problem so I have not had to use their guarantee.

I find the Back in the Saddles prices on their merchandise to be a bit on the expensive side but at least they do seem to be in line with other similar merchandise that I’ve seen.

I recommend shopping at Back in the Saddle because they do have a very large horse themed selection of many different horse items and it’s very convenient for the horse lover OR for the person buying a gift for the horse lover.
