PLEASE SHIP SHOES IN A CARDBOARD BOX!!!!I always have some mishap when ordering from Bloomingdales.com. Whether it be the slow shipping,lost packages or slow return process. I strongly hesitated to order this time but, I'm a shoe addict and they had the very pair I desired. They were having a free shipping promotion, & I'm a sucker for free shipping. I was pleasantly surprised that my order was processed, shipped and received in 3 days!! However, when I received my order, the box was completely damaged, crushed and busted at the sides, all because some rocket scientist decided it would be a good idea to ship a pair of $275.00 suede Tory Burch shoes in a small plastic pouch...similar to what you might ship a t-shirt or scarf in. Or maybe since the shipping was "free" they decided I didn't deserve a shipping box. Thank goodness someone at UPS was kind enough to tape up the plastic pouch where it had apparently busted open. It seems UPS cared more about my order then Bloomingdales.com. I have truly learned my lesson and will NEVER order even a roll of designer toilet paper from that website. Save yourself the hassle and order from NEIMAN MARCUS.com....they beautifully package your items with care & class, shipping is fast and returns are a breeze. THANK YOU BLOOMINGDALE'S.COM for reminding me why I should shop elsewhere.
