Disappointed with the online support and service, I will NOT shop with them again.

On December 14, 2008, I joined the Booksamillion.com after shopping at a local store and becoming a Millionaire's Club member. At the time I was in the store they did not have 2 of the books I was looking for. I placed the order thinking it would be delivered before Christmas. On December 19th I sent an Email to the support email address given in the order confirmation asking for the status of the order because the order still showed "Pending" which was described on the account as "being gathered for shipment". Then I logged into my account to have the order changed to "overnight shipment" since both of the books were to be Christmas gifts and time was running short. On December 23rd, I sent an email asking for the status. I did not receive any replies to my emails. However, I did receive 4 "ad" emails, which I know are computer generated email.
On December 29th, after going out and buying different books for the Christmas presents, I still had not received an email response to any of my previous emails. I canceled the order on line and sent an email requesting the order to be canceled and my account closed.
I liked shopping in the local store; the staff was helpful and friendly. And the local store is very convenient but now I really do not want to support the company on line or in the person at the store.
