This store has been a great way to get the latest music in all genres since I've been on the internet. Cheap prices, shipping, and they even stock the smaller labels that many retail stores wont stock on Tuesday! Do yourself a favor and buy from these guys.

For once the product actually arrived on time, unfortunately it was in NTSC format, but that isn't CD Universe's fault. It's one of the best experiences in interactive buying i've ever had.

CD Universe is an excellent source for purchasing music online. It is on a part with other, similar sites, and sometimes has harder-to-find items. The search form is easy to use, and results are not particularly confusing or cluttered. However, I submitted a contact message regarding returning the product (my mistake on the order) and have never received a reply. Also, three cassettes in plastic cases were shipped in a bubble mailer envelope. If there had been any rough handling by the shipper, the cases could easily have been damaged. However, to compensate for this, they offer free replacement cases if you fill out a form on their website.

They had problems with the supplier which put me on backorder or something like that. Now they don't know when I will receive my DVD or if I will receive my DVD.

My shopping experience was good. I did not receive my product when I was expecting it, but it was not a major delay. I was able to track it online and I appreciated that.

I ordered my VHS film from CD Universe, waited the prescribed 10 days for my check to clear, and then they promptly shipped my order. I have played the tape, and it works perfectly. My only disappointment is that I paid $10.85 for the video, and today on the web they are offering it for only $8.45, some $2.50 less than I paid. Those are the breaks of the game, however, and price changes are bound to occur. I am only sorry to be the victim, and not be beneficiary.

CD Universe it a good company to deal with, UNTIL, you try to get a refund. They will issue store credit and good luck getting it applied to an order. I have failed to get a refund on THREE separate occasions. I did not have my credit applied to my order, even though I contacted customer service before the order to learn how to apply my credit to my order. They said it is "Automatically applied", it was not. I had to contact customer service again and they REFUSED to issue credit my credit card, but told me I had one year to use my store credit or it will be lost.

I had to contact my credit card company and the US Post Office Department to get my money back. A customer SHOULDN’T have to do this for a refund.

I figured once was a mistake, but I was a fool to try them twice more.

Now, if a company takes your money and refused to ship you a product or give you a REFUND is mail fraud.

What’s wrong with these guys.?
