The Best thing for anyone who wants a career as an artist.

What a wonderful way for an artist starting out to get their work out there. It's great for learning about designing for the gift market place. You take your art and make it fit each measurement for each product. I've been a member for 2 years now. I

Exchanges? More like a return with no credit.
by figmentia, December 6, 2004

I actually got a present from someone, but the sizes weren't right. I contacted customer service, and they said they would be "More than happy to make the exchange." I didn't want a return. I simply wanted the right size. So I sent my merchandise back to them. 12 weeks later, and multiple e-mails, I have yet to hear anything back from them, 'nor have I received any packages with the correctly-sized merchandise back from them.
I won't be ordering anything through them again - I can't stand companies that rip off the customer, and aren't even apologetic for it. Update: After a complaint through the Better Business Bureau, cafepress.com finally replied, and has now satisfied my complaint. Granted, they could've done this months before they did, and avoided a complaint through the BBB - but some companies like to take the road less traveled. |

It would be hard for me to disagree MORE with the reviewer who warned people to stay away from CafePress. In my own experience with CafePress I'm very happy, overall. Sure, there are occasional problems, but on the whole I find it to be a great

I have been using both CaféPress and Zazzle for some time now. Each company has its own pros and cons. But they are pretty much all that is out there right now to easily make your own on-line stores. CaféPress offers the largest variety of products

Order was lost, Replies from them were slow, Item was Cheaply Made
by charlalee, June 14, 2004

They have some really unique items so I purchased a hat for $20 from them. I paid for 10 day shipping but after 15 days I hadn't received my item. When I Emailed them they replied with a UPS tracking number that didn't work. I Emailed them about this and they replied with the SAME info. I had to Email again, only to find out that they shipped my hat Snail mail. Why they sent me UPS tracking I don't know?
I could not log onto my account during this time and when I contacted them, they never answered my question about this problem. Finally after getting really annoyed I demanded a credit on my account. They sent me an Email saying they would re-send my item but I didn't want to wait 10 more days. I requested overnight but it took them 2 more days to reply to me. The item finally came (They sent me two rather than one) but it was very thin and not worth what I paid. Overall I would not buy from them again because the trouble was not worth it. |

WORSE ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
by rmct99, December 23, 2003

POOR!!!!! Expensive shipping, little-to-no customer service, and had to process a refund through my credit card company. I placed an order December 6th and as of December 22nd, it still hasn't arrived. Many emails went unanswered. After wait on hold for over an hour, I was told I could NOT get a refund, and all they would was reship the order. To top it off, THEY WANTED ME TO REPAY SHIPPING COSTS!!!! I told them I was intending on used the items as christmas gifts I was basically told "tough s**t, take it up with our shipping company." but of course they wouldn't give me my reference number for their shipping company. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!
