CompUSA.com order not worth the deal advertised!

I received an email from their mailing list stating they were going to be having this two day sale. They had selected items on sale, one of which was a 20.1 Widescreen ViewSonic monitor for 349.99 with a 50.00 rebate. It was an excellent deal. We first tried to buy the monitor at the local store because it said it was in stock, and by in stock they meant that all they had was the floor model. So then we decided to order it online. It said that it was in stock and of course all websites e-commerce websites update the stocks. But when the 1-2 day ship out timeframe had been exceeded, and the order still said that it was open, I called customer service. I got a nice young man whom informed me that the monitor was backordered. My first reaction was why would you not list that on your website, and I was told they have to manually input that into the system. My next question was when did it become backordered. He replied, "it looks as though it was backordered on the 17th." It was backordered two whole days before the sale. He said that they were getting a new shipment in at the end of the month and that we should receive it shortly after. After waiting till the last week of the month, I called again and got the most ignorant and rude man who was just mocking me. He said that no one could do anything and that I would just have to wait. I asked if there was anyway to change it from delivery to in store pickup. He said that they didn't have a policy for that. They don't have a policy for anything related to ticking off customers other than "we would like to have your business, but if you don't want to keep your order we can cancel that for you." Being completely appalled by this guy and CompUSA in general I waited till the beginning of June to call again. This time I got a lady and she said that the monitor was backordered again. Once again, my first question was how does this happen. She said that she could not answer that question. The only reason I came up with is they didn't get the amount of monitors they needed or they sent out the other orders first. She said she could request it to be sent from another warehouse, and I agreed.
Delivery Speed was inaccurate according to the website. Order accuracy was incorrect due to the fact they don't have an updated e-commerce site. Customer service was awful and unsatisfactory. Overall, I will NOT be shopping at CompUSA.com again and will be hesitant to give my business to our local store.
