Having heard good things about Crucial, I ordered from them when I wanted to increase the RAM in my computer. I ordered what their website said would be compatible. But when I received the order, the memory modules didn't work with my machine. I called their helpline and was told that this had happened before and that my model of computer (a Fujitsu Lifebook S2020 which i bought new 3 or 4 years ago) actually required a different module than the one the website suggested and they would exchange this for me. So I did an exchange. When the "correct" RAM arrived, it was the same thing they sent me in the first place, and once again it did not work. Once again I called Crucial; this time a message told me that due to a high number of calls I must call back later, and then hung up. Holding was not an option. So I did the online chat help instead, where I was told that in fact my model of computer could only accept an outdated module of RAM that they didn't carry and that I could have my money back. So I've wasted two weeks waiting for a product that Crucial claimed they had--not once, but twice. Maybe this company is good for customers with the newest model computers, but clearly they have a problem when it comes to computers that are not using the latest components.
