Late delivery and Poor Substitution

Ordered a balloon and bear bunch for my niece's birthday, Made the deadline in time for same day delivery. No such thing. After I checked the order status online, received a phone call that informed me they couldn't find any shop to deliver. They couldn't deliver until next day. I was offered a 10% discount for my trouble. OK not so bad. My niece will still have the pleasure the next day. When my niece calls to thank me, I ask her to tell me what it looks like. She describes the delivery to me. It was a pink frog with red lipstick kisses!! Talk about using leftover Valentine's Day stock!! By the time you add taxes and delivery, this order set me back a $50.00 bill!! I tell her I ordered a bear.... no bear here. Later that afternoon I called FTD.com. The operator tries to tell me substitutions are allowed. I know, I read the policy. I don't mind a substitution. A dog instead of a bear, a cat, anything... but NOT a pink frog with kisses!, might as well sent a leprecauhn. Customer service offers me a further percent... No way. Pay the florist gas money and for the clearance stock.. refund me ! Have to wait until florist is open on Monday. In short, customer service line was mediocre at best. I will NEVER send using FTD again!! And I will be sure to tell sister-in-law where not to shop in her locale!
