My shopping experience at Foot Locker Online Store unfortunately was not good. Simply put, there are other online stores that offer free shipping on both purchases and returns. Foot Locker does not and will not. There is no store where I live, so I had to return 2 pairs of shoes via the mail because they were too narrow in the arch and uncomfortable to wear. I have been told by someone in the business that the profit margin on shoes is tremendous, and at $6.50 for shipping each time, they are probably making a profit of half that just on the shipping. Because the shoes were so narrow, I asked for a refund instead of an exchange, and they tried to grind another $6.50 out of me to return the second pair. Foot Locker wanted to charge me 3 times for shipping that they were making a profit on and then leave me without a pair of shoes. This is not exercise of cooperative customer service, but more like a policy of war. Why shop there when you can order from www.joessports.com and get free shipping no matter what. I had to pull teeth to get them to waive the third shipping charge. Apparently it is ingrained into their associates that it is O.K. to charge $13.00/$19.50 to try on shoes and not have them fit properly.
