My experience with Home Annex was very pleasant. I found them through Froogle.... Their selection is varied, their prices at least 10% lower than their competitors, and I have found them useful for many aspects of my home renovation--plumbing and lighting thus far. I found out after ordering that a few of my friends have also purchased from Home Annex and have been very pleased with their items and the service they received--they were able to return unused items even though it was well after the specified thirty days, and found Home Annex employees very easy to work with and quick to suggest alternate products that worked out even better than the original ones ordered.
I placed orders both on the internet and by phone, and both transactions were speedy, with very clear prompt communication and email confirmations. They were very helpful on the phone when I called, answered without leaving me dangling on hold, and provided me with manufacturer contact information when they didn't have the answer to a question. Shipping was very speedy in some cases (when item was in stock in the warehouse it took two days to arrive at my house), and average with other items--but still within the time frame they specified, and FREE. I also found them very willing to work with me in terms of returns when an item wasn't what I expected. I plan to continue ordering from them as I move on to other areas of my home renovation.
