I completely forgot that I had even ordered something from these guys. I just happened to be reviewing my credit card for charges and found this $200 charge -- went through all my mail to figure out where this was coming from. Finally figured out that I'd placed an order over 2 weeks ago. Normally (always) I get an email update within a day or two indicating the my item will ship by X date .. not in this case. I go back to check on status by searching email. There is no status update except that my order had been received (and I'd been charged based on the credit card BILL). So I log into the website -- hmm, no update there either. So I email the company -- bounce -- if you need assistance call the 800 number. So I call the 800 number and wait .. oh, 20 minutes, during my work hours -- for no answer -- just horrible wait music. So I hang up and try the "Live Chat" - there is no one on live chat. I leave a message on "Live Chat." Finally get an email message that my item will ship in about 2 weeks.
W T F???
I hope I can update this when I finally receive my item but this is ridiculous, in this day and age, to receive no update on my order 2 weeks after I placed the order AND I have been charged. Most reputable companies do not charge until the item is shipped.
Awful experience so far.
Update: I finally received the item I purchased 2 months after the order had been placed (and paid for.) It was damaged. Boy am I mad. Not only did they bill me long before they ever shipped the item but they (or the vendor they used) packaged it very poorly and my $200 item was damaged!
