A couple of years ago, my dad purchased the Little Touch Leap Pad for Christmas for my son. He was way too little at the time and for about 2 years it sat in the closet gathering dust. When my son was around 2 1/2 or so, he finally was able to really enjoy using this toy. I searched around for additional books for him, but couldn't find any so I turned to leapfrog.com where I found the entire set available. I ended up placing an order and a few weeks later, my dad ordered as well.

Leapfrog sells educational toys for infants all the way up to teenagers. There is also a section for parents and teachers of children PreK-8th grade.

Navigating the site is pretty simple. There are tabs at the top of the home page to direct you. Under the "Shop" tab, you can select an age group to see all products appropriate for a certain age. You can also select a specific line of products. If you really want to narrow your search, you can search by age and by skill that you wish to focus on, such as math or writing. They also have an area specifically for clearance items and information on product recalls.

The reason I came to the site in the first place was because I had heard that the Little Touch books were on sale. I just clicked on the Infant and Toddler link and was taken immediately to all of the Little Touch products. There I looked through the assortment of books that were on sale.

I decided to purchase one of the books and added it to my shopping cart. Once you are ready to check out, you can make an account if you wish. Leapfrog offers gift wrap for $2.50. There is also a box to type in a promotional code if you have one. Checkout is much like most other websites. You need to enter your shipping and billing information. There are 3 choices for shipping: Ground ($5.95), Rush ($15.90), and Overnight ($22.90). Next step is to enter your credit card information. Once you are satisfied with your selections, hit submit and you're finished!

I received an email confirming my order and another email when my packaged shipped. I selected ground shipping so I had my package delivered in about a week. Everything was packaged nicely and the book arrived in excellent shape.

I have had no reason to contact customer service, but there is an email and a 1-800 number should you need to contact Leapfrog.

Based on my experience, I suggested to my dad that he could order a few things for my son for Christmas from the website. He did and also had a great experience. The toys arrived in time for the holidays and everyone was happy.

I definitely recommend the Leapfrog website. The selection of toys is great and they are almost always having sales. I wouldn't hesitate to order from their again.
