They charge right away, no help after thay take your $$

This is one online store for Allied Trade Group
(Lighting Universe, Fixture Universe et al)

At this time, suggest stay as far away as possible from this company.They will answer their sales phone right away, but after they take your money you will literally get an answering machine, and they will tell you to send an email. Both are supposed to be replied to within 24 hours: you will not receive a reply, and you will have to try again, and again, and again.

I had placed an order in October,2007, for parts I was told were in stock. The order was finally delivered early January, with two parts missing. They said the supplier decided the order for three parts was "a mistake" and decided not to send what I needed. Replacement parts would not be available for another 6- 8 weeks.

They had charged my credit card immediately on ordering.

I can understand order delays, although this was ridiculous. 3 weeks later, after more than a dozen phone calls and emails, I am only just now receiving the credit that was due for parts never shipped. (I ordered through a different, reliable, supplier.)

When one rep answered my call, I asked about their difficulties and the rep indicated they are understaffed and overworked. Since this issue began 4 months ago, it's not clear their staffing will improve anytime soon.

Perhaps there's a reason no one wants to work there.
