I had purchased a promise ring for my girlfriend, as it seemed like a decent value for the price. When it first arrived, we were moderately satisfied. You could tell that it wasn't as solid as most other rings you'd find and the birthstones were definate knock offs. After around 3 months of normal wear the ring started peeling, which now has spots of black all over. And yes.. It's made in China. Obviously its not made of solid sterling silver like they promise.
I've emailed them with very high details, and told them I want them to send me the ring that I ordered based on their picture and description. Or they need to write off my account that they are about to send to a collection agency since they did not fully charge my account on the original order. All they responded with was a pre-written response saying how they can't replace it and I need to send payment.
I expected a promise ring that would last more than a few months. I wish you could post pictures in the review, as I've taken several of the ring to add support to my case.
I will be forwarding my experience with them to the BBB and Attorney General if needed. I hope they will forced to make drastic changes to their advertising that will show people what there items are actually about. I have sold cheap .925 plated sterling silver in the past, and this ring does not even come close to comparing in quality. Even if they advertised this as a plated ring, I would still be in great disappointment.
