Customer service is terrible. Completely rude and didn't even choose to listen to customers.

My husband ordered for me as a gift a wok that was all wrong, but the online description didn't give enough information to know that. I called and asked only for shipping charges back for our trouble. The young man responsed: "No, we won't do that." I tried to explain why I was asking (completely calm and cordial), but his response was just "no." Finally he asked for information to look up my order. I said "If you're just going to say no, please don't waste my time by pretending." His complete response was: "Ok, I won't." End of call.

The product that they sent was all right, but this customer service response was shocking in its rudeness and unwillingness to even listen to what I wanted to say. I wasn't even ticked off, just asking for what I thought was reasonable. The "customer service representative" didn't want any information from me, didn't want to learn about what my concern was, just wanted to say no and get off the line. I would have accepted a negative response graciously, as I have other times, if he had heard my concern, questioned enough to understand it, and then explained to me why the answer was no. If customer service cares this little for the customer on such a routine exchange, what might their response be if I came to them with something larger or more important--damaged goods, for example? I won't take the risk and so won't shop with them again.
