Yes I Flipped My Lid!
This was the only site that I could find that offered just lids. I had lost a lid in one of the three moves I’ve made in the past year and really needed to find a new one. Yes, I did spend around $25 for the lid but the pan cost a lot more than that so I was happy. All of their prices seemed fair, as most of their items are top notch (in my book). Once I looked through their website and noticed the free shipping I was sold. Yes pan, you have a new lid!

A Taste of What They Offer
You’ll find things such as All-Clad Cookware, Mauviel Copper, EmerilWare, Enclume Pot Racks, Wusthof Knives, Henckles Knives, Global Knives, Kyocera (yes like the car!) Knives, Cuidinart Processors, Waring Blenders, Lids, and tons of Utensils.

Checking Out
MetroKitchen has a really simple shopping cart. You simply click on the cart to add the item and it allows you to continue shopping without having to look at what’s in your cart after adding each item. When you are finished, simply review your cart and make sure everything is there then check out! Enter all of your information, truly they only take the bare minimum to take your order, and you are done! They say your orders will always be shipped the day after you order it. Also, they notify you (hopefully promptly!) by phone or email if your item is out-of-stock.

Gotta Love This!
Shipping is FREE in the United States! If you live in Canada you will have to pay $1.50 per pound with a minimum of $15 per shipment for FedEx Ground or UPS Standard (Ground). Shipping to all other countries and territories will be shipped United States Postal Service Surface Mail at $5.00 per pound with a minimum charge of $20 per shipment. Shipping time is based on where you live. You can look on their website and they provide a link to the FedEx and UPS ground maps. But they state that your shipment will usually take 2-8 days after you place your order.

Want it faster? If you want Air, Overnight or 2nd Day Shipping you can either call them or select the Next Day/Second Day shipping and they will inform you of the shipping charges. You can then give them the go-ahead if you are willing to pay that much.

Ewww, I Don’t Want This!!
If you happen to dislike the items you’ve ordered MetroKitchen will give you a full refund if returned within 30 days. And unless you upgraded your shipping you won’t be out any money. If the item is damaged, there is a prepaid return label that you can use to return the item at their expense.

Warranties
A major plus of this store is that they will replace an item if it fails due to manufacturing defect if the manufacturer allows it! Some of the items they will cover are: All-Clad, Mauviel, Wusthof, Henckels, Global, Kyocera, and Waring. According to them the following products, due to manufacturer regulations, must be returned directly to the manufacturer: KitchenAid, Cuisinart, and Enclume. But they also state that they will be happy to assist with this process upon request!

Don’t Think Of This As An Inconvenience!
MetroKitchen.com used Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to keep your personal information PERSONAL! You may notice that each time you order you will have to enter your credit card number. Don’t think of this as laziness on their part! It’s actually very nice, as they don’t store any personal information on their web server in return keeping your information safer!

User-Ability
The site is laid out nicely, it’s very easy to browse around and find what you want. I could look for new kitchen products all day. And sometimes I do! ;o) All pages and pictures load extremely fast and I haven’t had a page time-out yet.

Am I Happy?
Of course I’m happy! My pan has a new lid, I’m not broke, shipping was free and no one will be stealing my credit card number and maxing it out! Delivery time took 3 days from the date I ordered it which is VERY fast considering it was shipped for free. I highly recommend this site! Another little plus of their site is a section dedicated to care of All-Clad cookware. You got to love a site that actually wants your products to last!
