I assume this company is either a scam or very poorly organized.

The italian music box did not arrive as advertised. First, it had bits of glue stuck to it which I had to remove; second, the engraving portion was missing; and third, the shipping was delayed, although I did receive it before Christmas. 

I made several attempts to reach Music Box Attic via phone and email. No one was reachable via the phone (an automated pickup line answers and states the voicemail box is full). I received one response to my repeated messages sent via email from Boris stating that he was surprised about the glue, but that yea it's possible that the box shipped without engraving but hey at least I had a box. He said the engraver probably tried to reach me because my message was too long (which was a bunch of bull) and I asked him why was there no message from anyone, and most importantly, why did they take the order if it didn't fit on the box?? 

He suggested they send the engraved plate separately and I could affix it myself. I actually agreed to that but never heard from Boris again after that - no engraved plate arrived and my repeated attempts to reach Boris to remove the $29.99 charge from my card for the engraving were unsuccessful (he never responded, and the phone voicemail box is perpetually full). I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Stay away from Music Box Attic.
