I just placed my 3rd order with Ravis Tailors. The first order was a few shirts. The next order I went a little further and ordered a suit. My recent order was a pair of pants and another shirt.

The shirts are terrific but the suit was most impressive. I cannot come close to matching the quality and craftsmanship of this at Mens Warehouse or a department store. I am tall and skinny and have a hard time getting clothes that fit properly. Right out of the package, the suit fit perfectly! The jacket has many pockets and the detail on the jacket and pants are excellent.

Be sure to have someone take your measurements as it is a little hard to do it yourself.

I highly recommend and WILL be making future orders.

I bought a coat using off-the-rack sizes. Good fit, but worth the time to get someone to take your measurements for you. 2 suits that were custom made are outstanding. I think I'll stick with this company in the future. Great updates, fast shipping and a variety of pricing levels should suit anyone who is interested.

I have ordered several (4) suits and shirts over the past 2 years from Ravis. I took the measurements both off existing garments that fit and had my wife take them off my body. We compared and measured again the dimensions that didn't match. The first suit fit perfectly. Material was better quality than most I find in stores that cost 50% more. The fit was so good, in fact, that on the next order, I asked them to make the arm holes a bit larger. They verified and have made each suit since perfectly.

I've looked at custom tailoring locally and looked at several men's stores with the thought that I might order or buy from someone else. The bottom line is that I like my Ravis clothing more than any of the other clothes I've bought.

I have also noticed that the suits are lasting longer than other clothing I had purchased. Usually I wear pants out within 2-3 years, but the Ravis suits aren't showing any wear.

Recommended!

One note, however: paying a little more for the suit (not buying the lowest price) does get you significantly better fabric.

Ravi's offer an excellent service at an amazing price. My shirt was exactly to specification, very well made and was delivered from Thailand to the UK in less than two weeks from ordering! I will definitely order again.

As stated in other reviews, do take time to get the measurements correct. Also, think carefully about the fit you want - problems other people have had with too much 'comfort' added can be easily avoided by choosing the right options on the very detailed measurements form.

After looking all over cyberspace for a respectable vest for the groomsmen in my wedding, I finally went the custom route. The work was impeccable and the turn around time very respectable. I was skeptical of using an online tailor, but I always had trouble with ill-fitting off-the-rack suits. (I'm 6', 40-29-36.)

Ravis Custom Tailors will create your order using exactly the instructions you specify, so be sure that your measurements are correct. You can choose from a large range of styles and fabrics of different quality, and there are large range of additional options, such as hand-basted canvas fronts (an additional $35) and working sleeve buttons. You may modify the styles to suit your tastes or build. (You may want to order an inexpensive item at first to get used to the process.) My requests, such as a narrow arm-hole and slimmer-fitting sleeves to fit my small bone structure were executed perfectly and with taste.

My order arrived ahead of schedule, and my questions were answered promptly, but you must consider the timezone difference to Thailand.

My first suit had a superb fit and the construction quality was higher than the price would suggest. I have ordered two more and a matching overcoat.

Ravis Custom Tailors are veritable master tailors and is the answer for us hard-to-fit folks.

I ordered one of Ravis cheaper suits to get used to the system and check my measurements. The suit arrived in about two weeks and I'm very pleased with the fit and quality. I've now ordered another three suits from their more expensive ranges. Overall I would say that Ravis' is excellent value for money. The web site is superb in terms of ease of use and choice. The customer service has also been fantastic. I can't see me ever buying an off-the-peg suit again. I also see Ravis as a nice way of redistributing a bit of wealth from the richer countries to the poorer. I have now used Ravis Custom Tailors Online several times. I have always been delighted with the quality of the garments and the large range of choice of style and fabric they offer. The speed of delivery has also been quicker than any of the other on-line tailors I have used.

What has particularly impressed me is the standard of customer service I have received. They have always been very responsive to my emails.

Biggest "problem" is there are so many choices! I've been a customer for a bit more than two years, and have ordered many times, and I can report that options as to fabric types and styles grows monthly. An important note: the lower-end of the quality spectrum here-- the Classic Shop and Classic Premium Shop-- has improved greatly in fabric quality while keeping prices the same. Also, my last order-- which was a rush order-- was handled masterfully, and got to me just in time for an important business meeting!

If you find yourself totally dissatisfied with the quality of clothing that is available for any kind of reasonable price, consider the alternative of Ravis. Because I had difficulty in obtaining measurements, I decided to ship two articles of clothing, slacks and a cotton shirt, that fit very well to Ravis to use for measurements. I mailed the items by USPS Global Priority Mail. Ravis promptly dispatched confirmation of receipt of the package and my order. Throughout the order process, Ravis emailed me with status of the order and estimated shipping date. When shipping time came, I thought that the order would be sent by regular airmail and expected at least a week to reach me on the east coast of the U.S. Instead, the order came by DHL Express and was at my doorstep in two days. Fit of the clothing was perfect, and I am delighted. Customer service is very prompt and efficient. Fabrics are from some of the top Italian designers and you will be dressed (finally) to your complete satisfaction.

I recently ordered my first suit from Ravi, and, based on the finished product, will probably order more. I was very impressed with the workmanship and the attention to detail, especially in the jacket. After wearing the suit once, I will probably adjust a couple of measurements, particularly jacket and sleeve length, but only by about a half inch or so. I expected to have to do so, given that I took my own measurements, but that was a risk I was willing to take. For the price, I think it's an excellent value, given the quality of materials and the workmanship.

Furthermore, I find Ravi's customer service to be very responsive and helpful. My wife recently ordered a suit, and the ordering system somehow recorded and order for tow instead of one, and Ravi quickly changed the order within 24 hours. They were also very good at incorporating little changes my wife requested after ordering.

I have been ordering from Ravis Custom Tailor for several years now. Based on samples of fabric that I request and styles that I research on their site, I have not been disappointed. The website is informative and helpful. When I place an order, they keep me informed via email through each phase of until completed. The quality is great. Communication, communication, communication. I knew from the moment when I placed my order exactly where it was. Even that it would be arriving a week earlier than expected; total time from placing order to receipt of goods was an amazing 2 weeks and 2 days. (I have used other bespoke tailoring services in the past and 2 months was nearer the mark!) Delivery time from the other side of the world was terrific, plus of course the tracking code so I could see exactly when the package would arrive. Finally the garment itself; the words 'high quality' don't really do justice to it. I am very, very pleased with it. In the future, I will be sending all my tailoring needs to Mr Ravi and his team.

Ravis continues to remain my main source for made-to-measure clothing. I have always purchased off-the-rack clothing and have them altered due to my unique measurements.

After sending Ravis my measurements, they keep everything onfile so all I have to do is send in what I am going to order next. Upon receipt of order, Ravis has a tracking system that lets me know exactly what the status of my order is and expected time to ship.

Upon purchasing an original shirt for $75 US (which I can compare to shirts that retail for over $200 US) I took the initiative and purchased 2 suits as well as several new shirts.

For $340 US I ordered a Super-120 3 piece Wool suit. In comparison the exact same specifications of the suit (and fabric quality) is available at Jos A Bank for $1300 US. The difference between the two is that Ravis suit does not require that I have the suit altered and it has all of the same quality.

Ravis will continue to have my business as I build my wardrobe.
