Online inventory showed that they had the Samsung laser cartridge in stock. Ever since then, I've been getting messages that the item is out of stock, but they will most likely have it in 24 hours. However, that has not proven to be the case inasmuch as the item has still not arrived. Had the online inventory indicated the item was unavailable, I'd have placed the order elsewhere.

I purchased a large architectural plotter for my business.
PC Universe was the third cheapest price, but the first two had a trend of pretty awful reviews, so I went with PC Universe. The items came to my door quickly and well packaged & protected. I installed the plotter and it worked great. No complaints from me.

I have been frustrated becasue the product did not ship when it was supposed to and then there were addtional in transit problems that I never did here back on how it was being resolved. I might consider buying again but I am not pleased overall.

It seems like if a turtle carried my item. For one week the order was "clearing" my check. I don´t know why I spended more money in a "fast"shipping choice. Here at PCUNIVERSE, everything is very, very, very slooooow.

Primary goals were to receive the equipment quickly and in new condition without paying a fortune for the equipment or the shipping. This merchant accomplished both goals without problems or intervention. I am always looking for merchants with websites that actually work (i.e., do not require a lot of my time chasing items that out-of-stock, slow delivery, etc.) This merchant has an excellent web-based system. Highly recommend to any shopper looking for a quality shopping/buying experience.

My shopping experience has been good. The items have been received in good order. Part of my order came later. At first I called to check on it. The customer representative showed that it should have been delivered the same day. He was going to check on it. It finally came about a week later. The box was a little crushed but the items inside where ok.

I have been debating about buying a color laser for a number of months. I used my tax refund to purchase this one. I used both Froogle and Price-grabber to find the best pricing on the web. PC Universe had the printer actually in stock and at a very good price with no shipping if you went with ground. It was delivered within 3 days to my home which was within the delivery time, but actually faster than I expected. The unit was exactly what I ordered and was fairly easy to put into service. I am very happy with the order and will keep PC Universe in mind the next time I am looking for large computer products.

Their website said that they had 7 HP DVD Movie Writer dc5000's left but I received an email saying it was back ordered. I questioned it and they stated that their website was in error and they would not be able to fill my order at all. They did correct the website after my email. I was dissapointed that their website wasn't up to date and I spent a few days waiting for my item to no avail. I was satisfied that it was an unintentional error ands will give them another shot in the future.

I was very pleased with my on-line purchase experience with PC Universe. "Tito" quickly located the product when others vendors could not. My credit card was not charged until the order was shipped and it arrived in good condition the next day (PA to VA), without shipping charges.

Overall, this is a good merchant. I did have one thing that was upsetting and that was that I bought the product with the understanding that there was a $35.00 rebate. After I got the product and I called PC Universe back to see how to get the rebate, I found out that the rebate form stated it was only if you had another dot matrix printer you could send in for the $35.00 rebate. I was not able to take the rebate and I feel that PC Universe should indicate better on their website the rebate information so no one else is disappointed with their experience. ordered a camera bag, and without asking first substituted another camera bag. to return it I would have to absorb a 15% restocking fee for something that substituted and pay shipping. plus I do not get my original shipping refunded. heck of a way to do business when they were at fault. Not like I bought something I ordered and didn't like and returned it.

The order (NEC HT410 projector) was placed through one of their sales rep., who checked inventory and said it was available. I received order confirmation on 3/8/05. Credit card was charged on 3/8/05. Order was shipped on 3/10/05 after a few phone calls. Site says credit card charged on shipping of the order and that all in stock items ship within 24 hrs. Failing grade on both of these.

Ordering was simple and the price was right with free shipping and no tax, but even though the site stated item was available, it was back ordered. No big deal as it became available about 3 days later.
I used the person to person help system to find out when the item was to ship and details of tracking, so I knew when the item would arrive even though I was not formally informed of any shipping and tracking details by email until 2 days after I had received the item. A case of shut the gate, the horse has bolted.

If you order from this company you are really rolling the dice. You stand a better chance in Vegas. I ordered an HP printer, it did not function properly. This company basically washed their hands of any involvement. They told me to call HP and handle it with them. How absurd. You can pay a little extra at a Best Buy or Circuit City and take any product right back to them. Oh, like many of the other reviews, my printer was just dropped off on my front porch in a well marked HP box for all to see....and get this even in the rain. The price was O.K. but absolutely not worth it. Never again, never again. The funny thing is that I work for a computer software company and we share our experiences guess what story I will tell. I am so unhappy with this company... My order was lost on your internet site. When I called, they CS person found it, guaranteed it was now taken care of and shipping and when I looked on the site last night, my credit card was charged but there STILL is no indication of the item being shipped. They shipped the wrong item. It took over 6 wks. to get an authorization to return it and that took a certified letter to the owner of the company. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to keep them from billing me. They said they'd refund my return shipping fees and didn't. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent. They suck. If you're into S&M, this is the place.
