Did you know that September is Baby Safety Month?

I thought I would share with you a favorite online store of mine. I recommend all parents check out this store at some point or another -the Perfectly Safe Online Store .

What is so perfect about it?
The Perfectly Safe Online Store carries anything and everything related to child safety. The “store” is divided into departments, or what they call Safety Zones.

One area of interest to me is Water Safety. As a mother who has participated in both infant and toddler swimming classes for some time now, I am always on the look out for products that will keep my child (and others) safe in the water. An essential purchase that I have made at the Perfectly Safe Online Store is the purchase of Kushies Swim Diapers a reusable diaper/bathing suit for infants and toddlers. Anyone who swims with children who are not potty-trained knows that a swim diaper is a must (but that is a different review). Since Kushies diapers are not readily available in local stores I am left with no other option than to purchase online. This shouldn't be a problem except as my luck would have it, no matter what store I ordered one of these diapers from it was out of stock or back-ordered. Which is how I landed at the Perfectly Safe Online Store during a desperate search for a store that carried the exact diaper and size that I needed. I don't know how to explain it, but it was sort of like a friend coming through for you at the last minute to help you out when you are in a pinch. When someone does that, you don't quickly forget it.

So, as it turned out, just the other day I recommended this store to my mother in law, to purchase a few items so that she could do some essential child-proofing to her home before our next visit. It was through one of these suggestions that I found the railway netting which is going to be a definite must for the stair way and "bridge" at Nana’s house.

Any Sales?
An added bonus is the site has a Bargain Basement which is always the first place I like to check and see what deals can be had. The BB is hit or miss as far as selections go.

If you register (by completing a simple form) on the Perfectly Safe site, you can sign up to receive a newsletter and also sales type emails. I recently received an attractive email (in html mail format) that included a discount code for up to 10% off on certain items.

Making the Purchase
Types of payments accepted include your standard credit cards – Visa/Mastercard, Amex and Discover. One thing I appreciate is that they do not charge your card until your order is fulfilled. This means that if you item is on backorder you will not be waiting months for an item you have already paid for. In the case of an item you selected going on back-order they will let you know right away and make every effort for the item to be available within 30 days. I have had one item go on back-order and it was received about a week after the remainder my purchase. This was very reasonable to me and because of their excellent customer service and communication I had no trouble with waiting for my exact item to come into inventory.


On-Time Delivery
Anytime that I’ve ordered from the Perfectly Safe Online Store it has been received within a week or so, give or take. They ship out of Ohio, so that will determine how long it takes to get to you. According to their site, they package items within 48 hours of the order being placed. Shipping is fairly reasonable at $4.95 per package and then 75 cents per pound. This can add up on larger heavier items – like gates, etc.


Overall
When it comes to anything remotely related to child safety, the Perfectly Safe Online Store is high on my list of places to check out. They present a variety of merchandise and brands that are not always readily available in local retailers, and they sell these items at very competitive prices when compared to other bigger online merchants.

The bottom line is that as parents we want our child to be perfectly safe day in and day out - no matter where they are. The Perfectly Safe Online Store helps us make this a reality.
