What can I, as a consumer, say about PetFoodDirect Online Store? Actually, there is a great deal that I can say about them. I have used them for many months now, both directly and indirectly and have been totally satisfied with their customer service, their products, and their selection.

Many of the reviews that I have written have been on products that I have purchased through PetFoodDirect Online Store. The reason for this is simply because of the availability of items that one is not able to find in our local markets or pet stores. Many of the pet products that I purchase from my local vet are purchased through this site.

Pet products are not the only thing that PetFoodDirect has to offer the consumer. One thing that I love about this site is the pet care services that they offer. The sections within this category: Ask the Vet — Visit Dr. Chambreau’s Animal Wellness Center — Valerie the Products Expert (you can send her questions to answer) — Pet Tips — and Pet Travel Central.

Ask the Vet: In this section you have several vets that are total professionals and offer great advice in many different areas. The specialized areas: Dentistry, Birds Reptiles, Pediatrics and Geriatrics, Dermatology, and Behavior Training. There are nine vets all together that can answer your concerns.

Dr. Chambreau provides us with helpful tips and techniques in using Holistic care on our pets. This section is very helpful and you would be surprised how well holistic care works for a pet. There are 18 conditions and thirteen body parts covered in the holistic discussion. A great place to visit with this one.

The pet tip section offers a new tip daily or weekly such as when flea season is and what to do to control it. A great section for a quick idea.

Travel Central is the greatest place. It offers you travel advice for you and your pet. It lists essentials that you need for whatever pet you are traveling with and offers ideas for different types of travel toys for your pet. They offer you health and first aid tips for you and your traveling pet and suggested products you may need to include before you set off on your adventure. They also suggest many other products that you may purchase through PetFoodDirect to help you along your way and into a safe journey.

The section, Ask the Product Expert is very nifty if you ask me. You click on that link and you will be taken to an online form that you fill out with your name and e-mail address and then there is the section for you to ask your question or voice your concerns. They will get back to you personally as soon as they are able to. I have only sent in one question but I had my response in my e-mail the next day. So I think it is safe to assume here that they will answer your questions in a timely manner.

PetFoodDirect offers you a link that can help you in navigating through their site and tips on how to shop with them. Very helpful indeed for beginners.

There is a really cool feature that they offer called: Meals Plus Program. What this does is supply you with pet foods, toys, etc. as often as you wish on a schedule. All you have to do is select your regular products that you will use most often and that you would like to have delivered on a regular basis at a certain time and they will automatically bill and ship on that date as often as you wish.

For first time members they offer you a $10.00 off promotion. Use it! It is great. They also offer gift certificates for you to consider purchase. I think that would make a wonderful gift for the pet lover and owner. You can have these gift certificates sent by e-mail or by U.S. mail. By U.S. mail you need to allow 3 to 7 days for delivery.

Products! What do they offer us? My goodness, where should I to begin? They have so many products that it is unreal. I suppose that I can begin by listing the pet categories. They offer products for adult dogs, adult cats, kittens, puppies, fish, and little critters such as gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, and reptiles. They offer products for wellness and general care. They offer immune support and allergy remedies. In addition to gift certificates they offer pet related magazines and odds ~n~ ends such as door mats and watches. A great selection for sure.

Pet food is not all that is offered. But I have to say that there is a very large choice for you in brands and sizes of pet foods. There is also just about anything else other than actual pet food for you to browse through. Leashes, food bowls, furniture, fish extras, test kits, grooming products, cleaners, deodorizers, hygiene products, treats, supplements, toys, beds, etc. on and on and on! You name it, and they have it. I think you will love this place.

Pricing is fair and just in comparison with other online pet stores. In relation to your local pet stores, prices are within usually a dollar or so. I like that and it was a determining factor as to whether or not I used them. I use them and am impressed with them.

Shipping is reasonable. Nothing out of the norm in pricing with any other site and maybe a slight bit less expensive. They offer all the standard shipping methods available and order tracking.

Products arrive in great shape and I have yet to order anything and have them to be out of stock on that item. I feel they are very dependable.
