Terrible experience with the wrong item being shipped and not being accepted in return.

I am in the midst of a terrible experience with Price Point. I purchased a pair of shorts from their web site. I received the wrong size (too small), so I returned them for a refund. The shorts were then returned to me along with a letter stating that they were used and could not be accepted as a return. I know for a fact that the shorts were not used by me. Furthermore, they did not appear, to my untrained eye, to be in used condition. When I called to discuss this with customer service, they told me that there was nothing I could do. They told me that they would not refund my money or accept the shorts in return for a different item due to their used condition. After talking with the returns dept. manager, he agreed to take a second look at the shorts and re-evaluate the situation. I should not have to pay $80 for Price Point's mistake, which is what they are suggesting that I do. Their unwillingness to believe my story and deal with this issue reflects very poorly on them as a business. For the record, I have purchased several items from them in the past without incident.
