My experience at racks and stands was good overall. I liked the selection and purchasing a stand was easy. It did not take long for my merchandise to arrive either. That was great.

the items were 6 100 pound boxes. upon delivery arrangements, we were asked if someone was going to be here to help the driver unload the boxes. my 14 year old son was here, and was needed to help. everything worked out fine, but if he wouldn't have been available, i'm not sure what would have happened. i didn't think it was right that he was needed to help. i thought the delivery company would have had the necessary man-power to complete the job safely. michele donisi michele287@yahoo.com

We are pleased with our purchase from Racks and Stands. We had a small space to fill with a vertical entertainment center and Racks and Stands had just what we were looking for. Their prices are low and shipping was faster than expected. We had to assemble the unit ourselves which we didn't mind doing. I would definitely shop at Racks and Stands again.

My order actually came five days earlier than the earliest delivery date listed by Racks & Stands. I was very pleased with that. In fact, the shipping company called me on 5/27/04. I arranged to have the entertainment center delivered on 5/28/04. After I got the merchandise, Racks & Stands sent me an e-mail with instructions on what to do when accepting it. It was after the fact. They need to send that e-mail earlier. That would be my only comment.

The warehouse from which the package was shipped misspelled our street name. UPS swears they delivered it to our house and left it at the front door. My husband was home all day and no package was received. UPS sticks by their claim that they in fact delivered it to OUR address despite the misspelled street name. Racksandstands was very helpful with the whole situation and has told me that they another CD shelf is on its way. I believe Racksandstands is a competent company. However, UPS handled the whole situation very unprofessionally. I now hesitate to order with a company that uses UPS as the only shipping method to choose from.

I was very pleased to find a stand to fit my stereo system in the size and color that I needed. I did not see a similar stand in any store or any other internet site. It was easy to search Racks and Stands site. Shipping was free which was important because the stand I wanted was heavy. It arrived within the time period expected. The stand did require assembly but all the parts and directions were provided. I would use the site again.

Great packing/shipping (Stand was double boxed, and shrink wrapped. My stand was left on my doorstep by UPS man, on a slightly rainy day. But no worries, as the shrink wrap kept everything completely dry.

Great promotions (I was lucky enough to buy my 130 pound stand and get free shipping. Definitely saved me a good amount, as other places on the internet wanted as much as $80 to ship the same stand to me).

Overall, RackandStands.com is one of the best online stores I have ever found. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I've ordered several items from "Rack and Stands" and in every case the level of service has been outstanding. Here are some observations:

Their web site is easy to navigate, is packed with critical information about each product, and is NOT cluttered with meaningless eye candy.

They respond to emails. I emailed a question regarding an order and received a response (from a real human being) right away.

The orders have all arrived in a timely fashion and have been accurate and undamaged.

They have a good variety of products and brands. And their prices are competitive with other online service (while crushing the prices of traditional brick and mortar stores).

Overall, I'm extremely impressed and will continue to use Rack and Stands for all my future audio/video furniture needs.
