I am ready to throw my Select Blinds out the window!
I ordered express shipping and it still took over two weeks to get the damn things. Then the installation became a nightmare when I realized my window is very custom and installation is different than the instructions that come with the blinds. Everything fits so the ordering process went fine but the installation was a nightmare! Now for the fun part. I ordered vertical faux wood blinds. I ordered them split opening with the wand on the left hand side. I have this strange expectations that when I close or open the blinds, the "veins" will all ine up the same way. What do I get? They look awful! The entire right side all face different directions. I have been on the phone with 3 different customer service people and they keep walking me through the same thing. "It's a self adjusting track so if you keep pulling the chain they will all line up" Yeah right! Now I have had to take down the veins so many times to adjust the stem that I broke 5 veins at the top so they no longer click into place. Now my window looks like a mouth with missing teeth. This is rediculous!
They have now determined there is a factory flaw with the track (ya freaking think?) and are ordering me a new track and replacement veins. When I asked if they could expedite the delivery I got some speech about someone getting the message two days from now and then they put in the new order and then it is shipped ground deliver so I should have them no later than two weeks from now. Hopefully, all will go well once I recieve the new track and veins and it will only be 5 weeks that it took to get blinds installed and functional in my bedroom.
I will NEVER order from these people again!
