I had a problem. I placed an order and paid for 2-day air delivery. The delivery did not show up on the second day, which was not their fault. Had the order showed up on the second day, I would have been home to collect it; however, I got a phone call that my ill daughter was in the hospital (cancer) and I had to leave. The order was her Christmas present. I contacted the deliverer and told them the situation and asked them to reroute the package to my daughter's address, where I would be staying. The deliverer told me that they did not have the right to reroute the package and I would have to contact the shipper. The deliverer had a stated guarantee on their site that 2-day air would be delivered before 5pm on the second day and that did not happen. Well, I learned today that the package was delivered to my home on day three and now sits on my front porch, with me being 5 hours away, caring for my ill daughter. I had tried to contact the store when the package did not arrive on day 2, but it said their call wait was 15 minutes and I was to contact them during normal business hours. It then disconnected me. I sent an email and explained the situation. I asked that they contact the deliverer and reroute the package to my daughter's home and told them I was getting ready to leave due to family emergency. I gave address and phone numbers. I then had to leave and hoped that they would be kind enough to reroute the package, being that it was her Christmas present. I didn't hear anything from them. That was four days ago. I emailed them today, and copied the previous email. I received an email back stating they never received the email. I pointed out that the original email was to the email address they provided. Customer Service was rude to me. The point I am stressing is their rudeness, not the fact that the delivery was on the third day. If they say 2-day air and the delivery is 2-3 business days, then so be it. I let them know of their rudeness and had to ask three times for a contact to file a formal complaint on how they respond to their customers. I have ordered many times in the past but will NEVER order from them again.
