As a desperate last minute shopper I ordered a Tumi wallet for my husband for Christmas. (After over five years, the identical wallet wore out! The quality of their products is superb.)As a last minute shopper, I was attracted by the fact that Tumi offered a very quick turn-around time for their orders. When the order did not arrive on the day it was estimated to arrive, I called Tumi. Actually, I called that MORNING. Even so, they sent out another wallet NEXT DAY AIR at their expense. Of course, the original order came the next day. I called them to tell them it had arrived and they had already shipped the replacement - which they said to just go ahead and keep! Not only did my husband get a new wallet, but I had a second wallet to give to my father as a "bonus gift". I did get the impression while on the phone with the rep that they had encountered some problems with their warehouse and shipping during the holiday season, however they definitely turned those problems into a very positive experience, at least for this shopper. It's a good thing that their products are of such superior quality and last forever or I'd be spending a fortune on Tumi products.
