Full review
On March 16, 2008 I ordered wallpaper online from USA Wallpaper. My credit card was billed the full amount of $170.04 immediately. I received email confirmation that they had received my order and was issued order #414675. By mid-April I had not received my order. I called the 1-800 number and was told the paper was back-ordered and it would be another 2 weeks. On May 5th I called asking about the order. I was again told it was backordered. At that time, I cancelled my order, was told the full amount would be refunded, and was told it would take 2 billing cycles to appear on my credit card.
August 28th I spoke with Monica who said she would send the accounting department manager and urgent email about the refund.
October 1, I spoke with Becky who stated she would need to speak to accounting and would call me back.
October 2, I called the 1-800 number again and spoke with Margarita who reported that “they didn’t have your paperwork” and that my credit card would be credited by the ‘end of next week.’
October 24th I received my credit card statement, and the refund was not on it.
October 27th I called and spoke with Leslie who stated that she would email the accounting manager to ask for a confirmation number if a reimbursement was made and will send me an email. She refused to provide the company president’s name or allow me to speak to the accounting department.
Any and all contact with USA Wallpaper has been initiated by me. I have followed their timeline, patiently waiting to be reimbursed for goods that were never delivered.
USA Wallpaper finally reimbursed my credit card after they were contacted by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office on October 30, 2008.
