I have sent gifts from Wine Country Gift Baskets about 5 times. I have sent 4 Christmas presents and a thank you gift for our attorney. All 5 baskets got rave reviews from the recipients. I saw one of the 5 in person and was very impressed.

First the ordering. A friend gave me my first catalogue and I placed my first order of 2 wine baskets online. The ordering was very easy. I believe total cost for 2 wine baskets each that included 2 bottles of nice CA wine was $65-70. I have since done all my ordering online and have never had the need to call customer service. Each time I have ordered I have had no problems. Their website is very user friendly. Items are easy to find, the baskets are well organized by type (wine, coffee, bath, etc.) and they have something in every price range. I have purchased in the $25-$40 range and have always been pleased.

Value for the money. As mentioned, I have purchased baskets under $40 and have been impressed with the value for the money. Most recently I sent a coffee gift basket as a Christmas gift. This basket featured 1 lb. of Starbuck's coffee, 1 box of hot tea bags, 2 Starbuck's mugs, chocolate covered coffee beans and some other novelty Starbuck's items for $25-29. With shipping and tax it ran me about $36. I believe I had a 15% off coupon on the catalogue that I had just received. Great value for the money!

Quality of product. Excellent! I have seen one of the 5 baskets I have sent. I was very impressed and it looked like I made it myself...did I mention that I frequently make gift baskets myself? It looked better in person than it did in pictures which is very impressive, because unfortunately that is not the case much of the time. The others I have sent have been very well received and I have been told they have looked beautiful.

Online ordering. Quick and easy. Since I am a return customer all my information is saved and my name and address comes up as well as previous delivery addresses which is a great time saver. When you complete your order you get a "print this page" order confirmation. Within minutes you get an email confirmation. You get another email notification when your item ships and that comes with the link to the shipment tracker. You can follow the basket's progress while in transit to ensure that it gets to it's destination on time.

Delivery. Has always been on the day promised or a day or two before which I love! I haven't used anything but the standard shipping.

Catalogue...nothing can ruin a good ordering experience than the 50 catalogues a week they send you once you get on their list. I am a firm believer in the "less is more" concept when it comes to catalogue mailing. Many vendors who don't understand this waste a rediculous amount on mailing costs because honestly I toss 90% of the ones I receive right in the trash. I think Wine Country Gift Baskets sends me 3-4 a year, maximum...I can't complain about that.

Due to all of the above. Now that I have found such a high quality vendor of gift baskets with the convenience of online ordering I will utilize them, especially when I need one of these baskets shipped. The most difficult part for me in gift giving of this type is the shipping and they handle that for you which is well worth it. Although I can usually do my gift baskets for under $40 if I'm going to hand carry it, but I have never been able to nicely package and ship one for that, so the value to me is great.
