We contacted Wine.com online to purchase a hospitality gift for our hosts during a recent Florida visit. The order was placed approximately a week or so ahead of our visit. The order wasn't received until after our visit. We inquired as to whether the Estancia brand would be shipped. Initially, we were told no (even though the website let us choose the brand), then we were told yes it was available, then the brand actually shipped was NOT what was ordered. We feel it was a bait and switch tactic. Would NEVER recommend this company and definitely would NEVER shop with them again.

Most of my experiences with this vendor have been trouble free and met all lmy epxectations. This last order, they were evidently doing inventory when I made the order and the order took over 1 week to be processed. I called to follow-up and received my order shortly afterwards.

My husband and I ordered several bottles of wine back in December from WineChateau.com. We paid extra to have it delivered in two business days and it is now February 1st, 2007 and we still have not received our order. We have contacted them several times, and each time they tell us that the wine is on it's way. We are so displeased with this company and demand to have our money back!

Any positive reviews must be posted by someone associated with WineChateau.com (notice how short the positive reviews are?). The truth is that the people at WineChateau.com are either incompetent or crooks. My experience was the same as most of these people. I didn't receive my wine and they have ignored my phone calls and emails. I finally contacted my credit card company.

I ordered a gift basket on line. I forgot an item. I tried to eamil and call the merchant with no response at all. No call back or email and I could not reach a person at the # listed. The message said they were closed no matter what time of day I called. I never received confirmation that the item shipped. The receipient did not receive what I paid for. The items were not the items listed on the website, but there is not way for me to contact the merchant. Very Unsatisfied.

I ordered a case of wine three weeks ago which showed in stock on the website and received a order number with shipping information to follow. No follow-up from the merchant resulted, notwithstanding repeated attempts to reach them by email and phone. When I finally reached a salesperson after two weeks, he said the order must have been held up due to the holidays and he would get back to me by phone or email after talking with shipping. He never did. Subsequent emails have not been answered. Accordingly after three weeks of attempts to track down the order, I have zero information on its status. This is very poor service.
