At first view Ecampus.com seems like a good deal. One can send their books to them and get credit for their next book needs.
Ecampus is sooooo disorganized that they do not know when or where your shipments of books to them are. They do not keep an accurate inventory of items received. After 3 months your account zeros out of what has been sent to them. The problem being that Ecampus is taking on average over 4 months to receive your books sent to them!
I made a call to them to inquire about a 4 month old package of books sent to ecampus. My first response was,
"Did you purchase insurance on your books sent?" I said no. Then the Rep told me that my books were lost in the mail and hung up on me.
I waited five minutes and called again. The next Rep asked me If I purchased insurance on the package. I stated that ecampus had sent me a call tag and that the insurance would not have benefited me, so I did not purchase additional insurance. The rep then told me that ecampus was just behind in receiving packages and eventually ecampus would get back to me.
I waited five minutes and the next rep told me that this was just normal practice for ecampus to wait 4 months or more before they paid anyone.
I finally spoke to Wayne Bragg. He was at least a little apologetic about my Ecampus experience. He told me he would find out the problem and email me back. He emailed me in about an hour. He stated that he found the books and would give me a store credit or send me a check. I emailed that I would prefer a check.
It is now a month later. I have not received a reply to my emails nor have I seen a check from Ecampus.com!
You can chance ecampus to send you books or send you a credit for books you send ecampus, but I recommend Don't chance it!
