The 27-inch set uses a Pure Flat picture tube, which not only looks cool compared with a conventional, bulbous screen, but also provides a high-quality, high-contrast picture--partly owing to the screen's ability to reduce reflected ambient light. DVD features include fast and slow forward motion, frame-by-frame advance, programmable sequencing, a built-in screen saver, and picture zoom (2x, 4x).

Works great now, but will it break down?

The Bottom Line: Get it if you don't have money for any better brand. I have no complaints thus far, but it's a risk to take considering how bad their DVD players are.
