Originally designed from specifications developed by Gine Chant, a former ballerina with the London City Ballet and proprietor of Norwich Dancewear with more than ten years of experience in fitting dancers, this leading product features a streamlined, rounded sole; a flattering, high U-shaped vamp; extended platform for maximum support; shaved shank for enhanced in-step; and attractive elastic drawstring.Since its successful introduction, an additional need surfaced for a version of Glissé with a stronger shank to accommodate a wider range of dancers.
