Product Description

 
Royale Chambord Liqueur is a black raspberry flavored liqueur imported from France. Black raspberries, or framboises noires as they are known in France, are infused with a fine cognac that has been mellowed and aged at least four years in oak barrels. After this basic infusion, red raspberry, currants and blackberry extracts are added. Closer to the end of the liqueur making process spices such as mace, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and vanilla are added along with several other herbs, orange and lemon. Acacia honey is also added before the entire mixture is aged in barrels. This black raspberry liqueur pours a deep dark purple color, almost black, and the scent is pure sweet berry. When I smell this I am reminded of smelling fresh picked very ripe blackberries. Ripe and juicy, sweet and flavorful

Review: This drink is for you if you love raspberries. Just sweet enough to compliment an after dinner drink. Doesn't overpower. Great chilled or my personal favorite to really put them over the edge pour some warm Chambord & Chocolate sauce over New York...
