The Bottom Line: Avoid this dishwasher. Worse dishwasher we've ever owned. It will not clean your dishes. I think the design (motor,etc.) is flawed.

Review: fully disagree with the other review, i also bought this dishwasher on a good sale at lowes after intstall found it to be very quiet and does a great job this dishwasher will take even stuck on rice off on a normal wash i have not ever even used...

Review: We bought this dishwasher because our old GE dishwasher was recalled, and at the same time the recall came out, our old GE decided to stop draining. There was no clog, it just didn't empty after washing the dishes. The GLD5900 we got on a good sale...
