The Bottom Line: The unit does not work to specifications and made the area very warm and was unpleasantly noisy. I recommend not buying this brand period.

Review: Replaced a 15 year old Kenmore dehumidifier with a new Kenmore 50 pint unit. I can't begin to explain how bad the new Kenmore unit performed. In short, noisy, constantly turning on and off, extremely cheap construction.

Review: I had one for 1.5 years. It did a great job of keeping a 1800 square foot basement dry and smelling great. Sound level is low, bucket easy to empty and the hose attachment works great.
