The 2002 Honda Accord LX Sedan takes the extensive entry-level model and makes the key additions of fifteen-inch wheels, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, air conditioning, and dual power outside mirrors. The audio system has been upgraded to include a CD player with six powerful speakers, and rear passengers are treated to a center armrest. And in the performance department, the LX speeds down the highway with 150 horsepower thanks to the 16-valve VTEC engine. ABS brakes have also been added to this package.

The Bottom Line: With Bland styling, almost below adequate power for a 3,000lb vehicle designed to haul around 5 adults, and V6-V8 fuel economy, I'd Pass on the 2002 Accord LX.
