Infinity Kappa speakers have always been synonymous with high-end audio and the newest editions are no exception. The redesigned .5-Series features Infinitys innovative Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm (C.M.M.D.) material cone for unmatched stiffness and damping ability. The result is the cleanest, snappiest mid-bass with absolutely no coloration or distortion. The cone also features Plus One sizing and hi-roll butyl rubber surround, which maximizes the cone area and excursion capability for maximum performance at high volume. Redesigned, nonconductive, cast polymer baskets are tooled for shallow mount applications. Each Kappa speaker comes with a computer designed outboard crossover that has been voice-matched for total accuracy. Innovative C.M.M.D. tweeters ensure flawless high-frequency reproduction.
