Definitely a Camera for Indy Movie-Makers

The Bottom Line: At the moment this is THE camera to use if you're a low-budget filmmaker. Just don't expect CineAlta/Viper results from it.
Review: I was excited to get my hands on the HD100. I have used several prosumer-level JVC cameras in the past (X2, DV500, DV5000) and I wanted to see what JVC could do with the new HDV format. I can honestly say that they have done quite well.

Excellent prosumer camera with pro features & feel

The Bottom Line: Great option for anyone shooting dv and wanting an affordable HD option. Pro look and feel makes for an easy transition for those used to professional cameras and formats.
