Watch DVDs and Record on Them -- All in one low-priced machine

The Bottom Line: The Bottom Line is unavailable for comment. It won t move away from this DVD player/recorder. It created a slide show of personal photos ... and has them on continuous play.
Review: I have flirted with the idea of purchasing a DVD player that not only plays DVDs but also records to them. Since VHS tapes are bulky, the thought of recording on much slimmer, compact DVDs is a temptation. Think of all the space I could save!

The Bottom Line: Beware - the disks you make on it may not play on anything else - if you buy it, make sure you can return it.
Review: Would you buy a VCR that produces tapes that could only be played on that VCR itself? That you could not play them on any other VCR, or were not sure if you could?
