Is it LIVE or is it MEMOREX?

The Bottom Line: Alas, you hardly got to play any movies in your short life span.
Review: About 4 or 5 months ago, I purchased a cheap DVD player for my den. We use it for a game / media room. It's a small room with a 32" inch CRT TV and a nice comfortable couch. A VCR, a Gamecube and a Playstation 2 are hooked up to the TV and the room...

Review: Purchased on 12/30/06. Dead on 6/5/07
Luckily I also purchased the replacement policy with Sears. When I get the replacement, I'll need to decide if I want to get another replacement policy for $5.00 for something that didn't even last 6 months.

A cheap but good dvd player- the Memorex mvd2040.

Overall, it's a good dvd player. It was cheap which was a good thing for me. It's easy to use, and the remote is great. In case you lose the remote, you can program it to a universal remote. The bad thing about this dvd player is that it sometimes makes the dvds skip if you've been using it for a long time. It does no damage to the dvd, but it's annoying if you're in the middle of a movie. Pros: Easy to use, Good price Cons: the way it makes dvds skip
