Product Description

 
The PS3 features IBM's "Cell" processor and a co-developed Nvidia graphics processor that makes the system able to perform two trillion calculations per second. That's approximately 320 times more calculations per second than the PS2. Along with the traditional AV and composite connections, it also boasts an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port, which delivers uncompressed, unconverted digital picture and sound to compatible high-definition TV and projectors. The system is capable of 128-bit pixel precision and 1080p resolution for a full HD experience.

The Bottom Line:

Because of a lack of exclusive titles and cost-cutting measures by SONY, the 60GB systems seems to be a better choice despite this model's disk capacity.

Review: If you are reading this review, then most likely, you are wondering whether or not the Playstation 3 160GB console packaged with Drake s Fortune is worth buying, at its $450 (approximate) retail price.

A powerfull gaming machine

The Bottom Line: The PS3 has only taped a tiny bit of what its capable of and when they dig in watch out because Xbox 360 will get a KNOCKOUT.
Review: I have had the PS3 for about 6 months now and have logged at least 200 hours playing games. The PS3 has excellent graphics when hooked up to the HDMI port. You get 1080p output. I'm not a sports game player so I am reviewing on 3rd person shooter...
