The Bottom Line: Great collection of culls, outtakes and previously unreleased material. A first rate CD collection. A new set cost around $70 but a used can be had for $25.
Review: This 4 CD boxed sets gives one a behind the scenes into one of rock's legends. Covering a ten year period in his life, we can follow the progression of songs from mere doodlings to professional finished. Fascinating.

Not for the closet John Lennon fan

Review: I bought this boxed set as a Christmas present for my wife. We're both big fans of the Beatles and Lennon's solo work so it seemed like the perfect gift. In some ways it was.
