The Bottom Line: If you are interested in the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder this book is a must read. It is nothing like any of the Little House books.
Review: In 1915 when Laura Ingalls Wilder was 48-years old, she leaves Rocky Ridge, the farm where she and Almanzo finally settled, in Mansfield, Missouri and travels by train to San Francisco to visit her daughter Rose.

Rose is 29 and now married to...
