Date of Review: May 31, 2001
The Bottom Line: a great, fast-paced read that will keep you guessing. A must read for Patterson lovers.
1st to Die is author Jame's Patterson's latest release. It kicks off his newest, upcoming series and from reading this book it's guaranteed to be a good one. If you enjoyed the Alex Cross series you will enjoy this book and should get into this series. It's unlike his other recent novels.
As I stated before, 1st To Die is the start of a new series which will feature a "Women's Murder Club" made up of four very strong and determined women. There is a homicide detective, a medical examiner, a lawyer, and a reporter. Amazingly these four women decide to come together to work out the details of the latest string of serial murders in the area.
The plot unfolds as a serial murdered comes to town to prey on newlywed couples. Pretty creepy huh? Read the book...it gets even creepier!!
The four members of the women's murder club decide to come together and work out the details of the murder mystery going on around them.
The book is a fascinating , fast-paced read that will have you on the edge of your seat. It also intrigued me and drew me into the series. I cannot wait for the second book to come out so I can read about the murder club's next adventures.I read the entire thing in one sitting so I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fast read or a good thriller.
