Cute, Dependable, Great Handling but the seats stink!

The Bottom Line: I'm giving the car a low score because no matter how wonderful everything else is, if the seats hurt, what's the point?
I bought this car from it's previous owner and basically fell in love with the looks of the car. She is so cute! I got the Limited version with leather seats, AWD. The car handles great. Really nice feel to the steering. I love the breaks. She stops nice and smooth. But I have to say that the car has a few drawbacks. It's not a comfortable car. You do feel the bumps on the road, and that's okay. I can live with that. What I can't live with are the seats -- the seats are absolute crap. I can't drive more than 30 minutes in her without a lot of back pain. Never in my life have I felt so uncomfortable in a car. Some people seem okay with them, but for me, it meant having to sell the car a month later at a loss. No lumbar support. No thigh support. Cheap, hard foam. Feels like I'm sitting on a park bench. I tried all kinds of pillows and cushions and even putting a towel behind my back. Nothing works. I looked into replacing the seats with Recaro ones, but it's a lot of money and you disable the airbags. What a bummer. I'm now having to sell my little girl to look for something else.
