You won't play chess in the back of the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Date of Review:  Jan 21, 2007
The Bottom Line: You get a lot for the money if there are just two of you or one or two small children.
Review: We rented a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix to get from New York to Massachusetts. This finishes the cars we had from December 20, 2006 to January 11, 2007.

The features:

The car we rented was the automatic 4-door sedan. It has a 3.8L...

One of the industry's best kept secrets

Date of Review:  Mar 25, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you want a luxury and a performance car, need a family sedan, but can only afford one car, this is the car for you.
Review: Introduction
You want a sports car, with the handling, power, and style that goes with it. Your significant other would rather get a larger family sedan with plenty of trunk space, decent fuel economy, a smooth family sedan ride, big car...

Average Auto That Needs Work.

Date of Review:  Jan 3, 2007
Review: I drive the 2006 Grand Prix as a company auto. I chose it because it looked sportier than my other company options. At 10,000 miles I have decided that I would NOT buy this as my personal auto. I have had it in shop twice already due to defects with...

Most uncomfortable seats ever

Date of Review:  Aug 31, 2006
The Bottom Line: Abysmally-designed seats make it unacceptable.
Review: In September of 2005 I rented a car from the local Enterprise location to take a week-long road trip. I no longer had confidence that my aging Cougar was up to the journey. When I arrived at the agency, I was presented with a brand new, 2006...

'06 Base Grand Prix

Date of Review:  Jun 19, 2006
The Bottom Line: Solid car with good power, fuel economy, and space. Rear seat entry is a bit awkward, but manageable. Has a sporty image but drives like a family car.
Review: Good car overall. Mine has the 200 hp 3.8L V6 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. This offers good acceleration and decent fuel mileage (I get about 25 mpg under mixed city/highway conditions).

The car has a sporty feel to it but...

A Fun Car to Drive

Date of Review:  Oct 12, 2008
The Bottom Line: I like driving this car and it rates high in the style points, however, if your tall this may not be a vehicle for you.
Review: I have a Grand Prix which I drive as a work vehicle everyday. The best thing about the car is how fun it is to drive around town. It is small enough to scoot through traffic, with an engine that makes passing easy.

Handling:
The grand Prix...

linky legs

Date of Review:  Jan 1, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you want a good looking car with lots of power but with the convenience of 4 doors, this car may be the one.
Review: I have been driving this car since Oct 2006 and now have 29,000 miles on the odometer. It has needed only the usual oil changes and routine maintenance. This car has a 5.3L V8 engine with the displacement on demand feature. I love the power and the...

Date of Review:  May 15, 2008
Review: I bought a 2006 Grand Prix and just can't stop smiling. It gets really great hwy gas mileage. I have two sons who can ride comfortably in the car. The seats are spacious and roomy. The trunk space is enornmous! This car handles very well. The ride...

We are happy with it

Date of Review:  Oct 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: If I could spend the money, I would go for something like a 2007 Camry, but I am satisfied with this car.
Review: I was looking for a second hand Pontiac G6 bc our budget was a little limited.
So The G6 seemed just 'ok', but my husband wasn't convinced with the car. I took it home for the weekend and was returning on monday morning to purchase it, and...

Great Value, Nice Ride

Date of Review:  Jun 11, 2007
Review: I just purchased a 2006 Grand Prix for my son. We purchased the base model, and have been very pleased with the car.

I've previously owned a Honda Civic, BMW 325, and Lexus IS300, and the Grand Prix compares well to those 3. It feels...
