Hi people! I'm a 13 year old computer computer nerd reviewing this GREAT product...ATI TV Wonder is a product of simplicity that works fine..Installation is easy, pop in the PCI card, install the drivers software [5-10 mins..]and you're good to go! It doesn't have any in-depth features that can compete against other high-end TV tuner cards but its a nice addition to your computer. Although the sound is in mono and the picture isn't sharp in resolutions 640+ [either height or width..] it does add a video capture option for your computer. Try this product with a high-end graphics card and see if it fixes the "sharpness" issue [if not, it can be easily overlooked]..I wouldn't know if it fixes it, I'm running a SiS 650_740 internal 32 MB graphic chipset, if I knew, I would be the one telling you!If you're a HTML enthusiast, you would love to add video and stuff to your pages. Or if you own a analog camcorder, the composite input and the stereo audio input [splitter] [included] are a great way to import video! Talk about killing two birds with one stone, you get a tv tuner plus an analog transfer device! The software included with this is awkward but it works just fine...It has a couple of nice features such as the "TV Magazine" which records the captions in a show, the "Digital VCR" which allows timer recording, the desktop viewer which sets your wallpaper as your TV when the multimedia center is minimized. Overall this is an awesome product for a normal user who doesn't except GREAT things from a tv tuner card, but if you're a computer professional that wants the state-of-the-art product, this is not the right thing for you.
